Kate is a self taught artist and has spent many years experimenting with different mediums.  She worked mainly with watercolour, until visiting an exhibition whilst on holiday she was inspired by pastel paintings and found the flexibility and ease of working with them exciting.

Pet portraits were initially done for friends and family as gifts then it escalated by recommendations  and she has not looked back since. Working from her studio at home Kate now does commissions for a variety of customers
